Pastor Aaron R. Brown was born again on September 11, 2003 during a High School chapel message. Three days after he graduated he moved to Florida and attended Pensacola Christian College. It was there that the Lord called him to preach the gospel. Unfortunately, Pastor Brown dropped out of college to pursue his own passions. During this time the Holy Spirit continued to work on his heart and in the fall of 2007 he transferred to Grace Baptist College in Gaylord, Michigan, where he would earn a degree in Pastoral Theology.
During his time at college, the Lord allowed Pastor Brown to meet his wife Anna. They were married May 26, 2012. Shortly after, the Lord would call Pastor Brown and his family to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Lehighton, PA where he would serve as a Youth Pastor for two years.
In June of 2015 the Lord began to place a burden on Pastor Brown's heart for New England. Through a series of miraculous events the Lord led Pastor Brown to New Bedford and the Open Door Baptist Church in February, 2016. In order to build strong families, we need a strong church in New Bedford. It is Pastor Brown's desire to see the Lord encourage Christians, strengthen families, and save souls through this local New Testament church in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
